HBS plant can meet electricity needs of 2.5 million homes

LAHORE – The 1,230MW Haveli Bahadur Shah (HBS) power plant is capable of meeting the electricity needs of around 2.5 million homes in the country.

The plant, before the completion of its combined cycle operations, generated Rs16 billion electricity or around 1.7 billion units and dispatched it to the national grid during the test run.
